SHERMAN, Texas (October 16, 2025) – This fall, Red River ER & Hospital will reopen under new leadership while remaining part of the Nutex Health system, designed to revolutionize healthcare delivery in the Sherman community. Located at 2022 N. Hwy 75 in Sherman, Texas, the state-of-the-art facility will provide emergency, inpatient, and outpatient medical services and will operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including holidays.
Founded in partnership with Nutex Health, Inc., Red River ER & Hospital is owned and operated by board-certified emergency physicians with a shared vision of delivering an exceptional, patient-focused care experience.

As part of the micro-hospital model, Red River ER & Hospital offers a more efficient and accessible alternative to delays commonly found in traditional hospital systems. The hospital will provide a wide range of services, including 24/7 emergency care, inpatient stays, diagnostic imaging, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound, and clinical laboratory testing, all on-site and available for both adult and pediatric patients.
The highly anticipated reopening of Red River ER & Hospital marks a significant milestone in Sherman’s healthcare landscape and underscores a strong commitment to innovation and patient-centered care.
The hospital is expected to open in the fall of 2025.
